Alaska is Beautiful!

So, we want to move to Alaska, no just kidding, well maybe not! Mike and I enjoyed a week on the Volendam traveling through the Inside Passage, seeing Tracy Arm Fiord, Glacier Bay, and stopping in Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. The weather more or less cooperated (for Alaska) and we did not get rained out of any activities. It was damn cold sometimes though -- especially watching Glacier Calving in Glacier Bay. We saw 3 bears, 2 whales, a bald eagle, about a billion mountain goats and too many salmon. In fact, we don't want any more salmon for awhile, no raw salmon, no smoked salmon, no broiled salmon -- we're full of salmon, but we'll take Alaska King Crab Legs anytime!!

Our recommendations --
Juneau - Helicopter ride and Glacier Trekking with North Star
Skagway - Take the White Pass Train to Fraser, British Columbia for beautiful mountain vistas on a narrow gauge railway. Bicycle back down if you're adventurous!
Ketchikan - Salmon fishing/observing and the City's Walking Tour
