Well it may have taken me 8 months, but I finally changed my name at the Social Security Office today. It was actually quite easy. The hard part comes now -- DMV, then send in passport, then bank, credit cards, and the pit of Duke University payroll.
What inspired this miracle? We are going to Vancouver/Alaska in September and I needed to decide what name to fly under. I am speaking at the Environmental Mutagen Society Conference and then dear hubby comes out and we go on a 7 day Alaskan Inside Passage cruise. A little shy of our first anniverary, but who's counting!
